Us gals with curvy bums and fuller hips need no longer look further for a pair of jeans that will fit to a T! Levi’s recently launched jeans under their Red Tab collection, aptly titled Curves, and they embrace every inch of your shapeliness as well as enhance the youthfulness in you.
The jeans are low-rise and come with a round-top block that fits on the butt and hips and whether you like it fitted, straight-legged or boot cut, there is a pair to suit every personality and you can be assured that you will be comfortable and stylish at the same time! If you prefer some stretch to your jeans, there is the stretchy version for that extra give that allows movement, and the non-stretch version, which holds everything in and ensures that your shape is moulded to perfection.
The recent launch of Levi’s Curves was held at TwentyOne Bar and Restaurant on Jalan Changkat, Bukit Bintang. Scores of celebrities were invited, and everyone was treated to a fashion show Project Runway-style with models posing behind a white screen, creating a mysterious silhouette.

i dont get it.
how can it be called “curves” if all the models are all pretty much stick thin and without hips or bums to begin with?!
lols, yeah hor! They’re all skinny. I wonder what size they go up to…
Curves my foot! What a stupid marketing technique…
In the land of the skinny, one inch is curve….oops looks like this is opportunity for plus size models…who is a famous plus size model in Malaysia that would have been a fair choice?
iv nvr bought a levis in my entire life cos my butt cant fit into one.LOL!doubt i’ll fit in the new CURVES COLLECTION
p/s we need applebottom jeans to be brought into KL!!!
Nadeera: yes yes, I know, Levi’s memang for the ahem skinnier people. Cos I can’t never fit into one too..
It’s hilarious that those models are considered ‘curvy’. Perhaps it’s just a pair of jeans with a smaller waist (anyone else has the issue where the jeans fit at the butt but totally gaping at the waist?)
Applebottom in KL is such a good idea…..
Eliza: ME ME!!! Always a problem:)
The only true blue brand of jeans for the curvy is from Dorothy Perkins , sorry Levi’s… ummm…, just wondering how they define curvy at Levi’s
Yet Mee: I couldn’t agree more…
Well some of the celebs are definitely curvier than the models and they look good! I thought Aishah Sinclair looked good.
Let’s face it, if any of the models were any less than thin, the show wouldn’t look as good! Of course, I think they look really skinny and they are probably wearing like size 26′s – surely petite, regular girls wearing a 24/26/28, etc. would look good?
karen lets go to levis n try the new curves collection.if we cant still fit into it then…im sticking to guess or topshop.hahaha
Hey guys,
I have big/huge hips (ranging between 37-39 inches) compared to my slimmer top (26 inch waist).
most jeans will either:
1) fit nicely at my hips and gape widely at my waist)
2) just doesn’t go up my thighs
so, i am still on my quest on finding the perfect pair of jeans. my faves are so far 7 for all mankind (which is super duper expensive!), topshop (which USED to be ok) and firetrap (only available in the UK). so i am pretty stuck.
until that is i saw the ad in Female.
i straight away went to KLCC to check ‘em out. unfortunately, they only had the ‘slim fit’ available (salesperson told me that the rest will be available in march).
anyhow, i tried them on.
i kid you not…they DID fit my very nicely.
the colour (dark indigo) made me seem slimmer and leaner!
yes, i am sure this was meant to be a marketing gimmick.
but, gimmick or not…if it fits me, i ain’t go complain.
anyway, what’s the harm in trying ‘em out?
i bougth 2 pairs of levi’s curves.
slim fit and slim boot cut. wooww!!1 it’s very comfortable. it make my curvy body look slimmer and my tummy flat.
hope levi’s will come out more colours like black. i am first person to run to store
If you really want jeans to fit, check out Tailored For You’s website. They use a body scanner to get an exact profile of your body shape and then make the jeans to fit you! I’ve had two pairs now and I am curvy – they fit great, I’d never go back to buying ill fitting off the shelf jeans.
