I was reading my daily dose of celeb news when I stumbled upon a piece of news which stated that Lipstick Jungle’s stage manager Arthur Moreira stole some designer item from a shop and sold it on ebay. A lot of fashion magazines, stylists and fashion borrowers should know that when they do borrow an item, they have to give it back. But, this one had the guts to sell it on ebay. The stage manager took a mosaic clutches, an Oscar de la Renta snakeskin bag, and Gucci coats.

That being said, Lipstick Jungle, is a New York City based story on 3 women of different careers. Sounds familiar? This shows portrays how they fend for themselves in the big bad world and their friendship will always be the main focus throughout the show.The three women are Wendy Heely (Brooke Shields) who is a movie producer, Nico Reilly(Kim Raver), and editor of a celebrity magazine and finally fashion designer, Victory Ford(Lindsay Price).

Based on a novel by Candace Bushnell, who also wrote mega hit series, Sex and The City, this drama series is also very fashion related. The casts are always styled to perfection according to their characters on the movie. Here’s a sneak peek:

Lipstick Jungle was rumored to be canceled by the network just after season 2, but just recently, they said they might bring back the show. Catch Lipstick Jungle now showing on Astro on Hallmark Channel at 10pm on Thursdays. Catch the preview on this video below:
