When Jason Wu designed his first prom dress , did he know it would be a path that would lead to him to have one of his ballgowns being worn by the First Lady of United States  at her husband’s Inauguration Ball? Well, the rise and rise of Jason Wu (26 years old) who broke into the market two years ago designing for Park Avenue clientele apparently surprised even himself about the chosen gown and is now an official designer for the presidency. He who always makes those ladies of leisure and debutantes look ladylike and stylish is now also helping to dress  the First Lady herself. Michelle Obama once again chose to wear a young Asian designer’s creation again, just like she did with Thakoon Pachigul when she wore his dress at the Democratic victory speech. She will most certainly help launch this young designer to certain fame as well!

Okay, some quarters think the dress is too long and looks like a rug on her… but you have to agree , Michelle Obama has a certain regal air and height to carry off most clothes , just like she did this gown and armed with an arm candy like Barack, she sure cuts a winning figure hands down!
