One for the road shot at the flag off!

Okay, it rained cats and dogs on  the morning of the event. Subsequent, we only flagged off at 10.30am , half and hour later than the scheduled time.

Contesting teams came in as early as 9am to register as was requested of them , but due to some “technical error” we only started the briefing proper at 10am.

Briefing-wah! look at their serious faces…hey, it is RM2000 we are talking about.

Of  the ten teams that signed up , 2 had dropped out last  minute leaving us scrambling for replacements as it wa stoo short a notice like less than 48 hours and one team less than 24 hours , we had to accept the fact that, it’s going to be the best of 8 teams. There is something to be said about the fighting spirit and the winning spirit.  The teams that showed up were dead serious about winning but yet in the most gracious and sportmanship manner ever.

They did not complain when one of the targetted venues had a hiccupped due to a misunderstanding and we had to call off all the clues from that venue, because the said venue “do not like to have our visitors disturbed and if we can say no to  The Amazing Race , we must also say no to you” . They did give feedback which we humbly accept that it would have been better if the situation hadn’t occurred, but  overall they had fun. It is in the name of fun ,they said after all.

So we at emmagem.com humbly thank each and everyone of them for their understanding. They showed us their true grit when we had to make minor changes to the rules due to the incident by just grabbing the bull by the horns and took off again.

Each truly embraced the meaning of leadership and showed that they are the winners although only one team took home  the prize money of RM2000 . They took the time did their own research  prior to the event and well, they showed us that they are real savvy shoppers , they know their stuff.

The race ended at 4.30pm , as we gave them an extra half hour due to the earlier delay and adjourned for dinner and prize giving ceremony  at 6.30pm at Seed Cafe. Each participant took home a doorgift of spa vouchers and gorgeous jewelry sets sponsored by eshop “Drunk with Emotions” and most importantly , we believe , they had a great and enjoyable experience that was made possible by Pacmee.com. We also gave away the Most Sporting Team a prize in appreciation!
