It’s been a wonderful and crazy year for www.emmagem.com , after toiling for two years , finally, emmagem have  done something right. We’ve found meaning in our writing in sharing of fashion info and www.mofsd.com, our shopping directory, has hopefully “changed”  as in shopping made easy in  many a fashionistas’s life. After all our motto is “shopping at your fingertips” from shopping tips right down to the eshops

to buy from with just a click of your fingertips. Our new layout hopefully addresses certain limitations like the very “confusing” navigation of the previous layout.

My original intent to create a site (e-zine with original content and blog) that not only talks about fashion but will also along the way build the self esteem of those who do spend some time to read our interviews ,our articles as well as our blogging about fashions and opinions  has materialized.  I would also like to think that as a team (ideas and execution), we have made the dreams of many to be a business owner of an online shop through the directory and eventually for the real serious ones, they might migrate on to own bigger brick and mortar shops.

Our passion has translated into something that is worthwhile for us and also for  a lot of entrepreneurial online shop owners , who by the way seem to be sprouting like mushrooms. Working on emmagem.com has also allowed me to  be  a better person and to realise that dreams do come true. Speaking to and writing about inspiring people who are successful after their many struggles (KL in The Prime segment ), I hope, also allows readers to know, success is possible if one perseveres.

Of course, we must acknowledge all the fashionistas who have not baulked and run away when approached on the street, as most Malaysians do, and shared with us their fashion tips in (KL in The Raw), BIGGG HUGZS of appreciation. Ur the coolest…

Yes, this year , we will have just a bit more money from our earnings to donate to some of our favorite charities, because some of you  took a leap of faith and advertised with us.  Muchas gracias from the recipients ( we shall announce and show pix of our ‘lil charity drive…)

And to the team, each and everyone of you and as they say at  the Oscars,”… you know who you are…”!; yes, going to school, juggling homework and carrying three jobs isn’t easy but I hope we are over the toughest part! Thanks for hanging in there and  I hope the journey has been one of meaning and discovery…

What’s next for www.emmagem.com in 2009? Well, certainly more of the same ( after all as Coco Chanel said , style always remains), better (since we embrace constant learning and improvements) and definitively,  different ( after all, the only constant is change and of things yet undiscovered ).

So to start off 2009, I quote Martin Luther King, “… I have a dream…”, yes, and  everything is possible and it came in the form of a very charismatic and intelligent Barack Obama

I also would like to quote Walt Disney’s “..if you can dream it, you can do it…”
