Question: Fedora

By: Sharyl

Hie,

I’m not sure if this is appropriate, but I needed a fedora for a school dance/play early next year, where can I get them?

Thanks!

Lily

Hey Lily,

Fedora hats are turning into a popular demand now. Fedora hats are soft felt hats that are creased lengthwise down the crown and with the brim of the hats sharply turned upwards. It used to be a man’s hat, but knowing how the fashion world turns it’s way, anything goes. Back in the yester-years, fedoras are seen on the heads of Indiana Jones, in movies. Now, you can see Justin Timberlake walking down the stage wearing a fedora. It’s so huge now, that even the girls are wearing it. Not in the daylight, but on a night out in clubs. Where’s the sun? You may ask. That’s the beauty of fashion. When the fads come marching in, it’s unstoppable.

However, when purchasing a fedora, never be too hasty to just because it’s the last one on the shelves. The hat should fit the head nicely without it being too tight or having it to fall off everytime you turn around. Make sure you bring everyone of your dancers for a fitting session :)

For a more stylish effect, push the hat forward down where the brim almost touches your eyebrows. For those who does not keep a comb in the pocket at all times, best is to keep your hair as natural as possible so you will still look good after  you have taken the hat off.
