Bold Prints Making A Statement
By: Sharyl
Meet Samantha, the owner of an online boutique called Peaches & Pixies. Her colourful bold prints caught my eyes instantly. She was such a dear to spend a couple of minutes to answer some questions despite that she was so busy attending to her customers.
Her headband was purchased from Bangkok. The colourful bold printed dress that states “PUNK IS NOT PRETTY” is from Bangkok as well. It’s actually a short sleeves dress but because Samantha is such a tiny girl, she made it into a one sided off-shoulder dress. Her booth was at the entrance without much of the air-conditioned blowing her way, but she wasn’t complaining. The material of the dress is really comfortable that suits perfectly with the hot weather in Malaysia. Her gladiator was purchased from Bijou Bazaar. Gladiator shoes came and made a big hit and its here to stay. Some styles come and go with a blink of an eye, but the gladiators’ shoes are still very much popular.
Samantha described her style as vintage, retro and is very much into the quirky style. I’d say the bold print does a lot of eye-catching as the place was really crowded but yet she manages to stand out. If a tiny girl like Samantha can stand out, imagine what the bold prints can do for the rest of us? As they say, “Words are powerful weapons”.

Her bold printed dress can be match with black tights and a pair of booties for another glam look.
