Question: Maxi Dresses

where can i find a maxi dress that can be worn anytime anywhere? i actually need it for my graduation dinner. im the type who wears jeans n tees so this time i wanna wear something different.. can u help me? need it ASAP.

Maxi’s come in many types. Some are satin which look more formal, some are cotton that are super thin that can be worn anywhere here in Malaysia. Sometimes I wonder how do people wear maxi in Malaysia when it is always so hot and humid. But I soon realize that there are some kind of maxi’s that are thin enough to be worn here. Of course, you can always wear those satin ones for a night out (with air cond, of course).

As for graduation, maybe you might need something formal, and not so casual. Maybe something satin-ey?

Here are some that we found:

Something different from French Kiss, RM68. This Maxi has a different style to it than the normal halter, tube kind.

V neck-ish maxi called the Stoneage, RM70 from Dressierre

Tropical flowers maxi. These are cotton and it looks like it can be worn during the day. RM65 from My closet Giggles

    hello there! i have 2 really nice maxi dress. one for a casual outing and one floral one. come have a look. it is cotton nylon. so it is stretchable and flowy. therefore it flows perfectly!! =]

    we have a maxi dress that we think might fulfill ur needs…have a look at our ‘Audrey Maxi Dress’ . wear it with bangles or maybe u can add other accessories like head band….there u go..Gypsi lookin like ;)

    hun, you are going to ur graduation dinner and u wearing a maxi dress? i personally believe that wearing a maxi dress to a graduation dinner will not be as outstanding as it should be. cos maxi dresses itself are meant for casual wearing on Sunday blah blah blah. y don’t u opt for a elegant evening wear, a nice make up and simple pony tail with a dangling chandelier earrings. well, from what u said before, ur fren would definitely always see u casual in jeans and tee. and it is ur graduation dinner. so this would be ur last chance to meet some of ur classmate - better you take this chance to give them ur best look! *wink*

    try wearing the maxi dress all out. a maxi dress, cute flip clop, and then bright color headscarf as ur head band (try wear it like the 1960’s, like the one in Dreamgirls!), and a laid back sling bag or just a tote. *wink*

    p/s : wearing it head up to have the confidence and just look straight front - then people will notice and admire ur highly confident personality and also. don’t be surprise when some others will stop you and asked wear u get the maxi dress and compliments u a bit
