Autumn Winter -Booties-licious
By: yetmeeBooties , they are my thing for this season. This time I really mean the booties , you know the ones that look like shoes with laces on stacked heels . now recently reinvented with stilletoes and ridiculously high heels and even more avant garde designs! See below, some of my favorite picks from designers like Miu Miu and Dolce …
How one fashionista wears them as seen at the Paris Fashion Week for Spring Summer 2009 launch recently! (www.vogue.com)
From left to right , wear them for a contemporary look , to a swanky party or prim cocktail and definitely wear them with a smart suit for work. (www.neimanmarcus.com)
Where to find them in KL: Nine West, Fiorucci, Raoul
Fits ages: 20s, 30s and 40s…

I saw these in the shops, but I can’t help but think that they remind me of those tiny shoes that women with bound feet used to wear… creepy.

We have something kind of different than the usual ankle boots. Come and take a look at our Killian Perforated Ankle Boots: http://the-shoplifters.blogspot.com/2008/10/neue-fashion-xi_14.html
Unfortunately, all sizes are sold out except for Size 8.
oh btw, we’re definitely loving the ankle boots fever and likes. Knee high boots like these : http://www.ninewest.com/Zayit/3042934,default,pd.html?cgid=1039 makes us weak on the knees haha

My feet are too wide for shoes like that anyway…
And BTW, I’ve seen these at Aldo as well.

Hey, synical , thanx, I missed out Aldo! and I like House too!
I have broad feet as well, the brands that cater for wide feet are Fiorucci and Nine West and Clarks actually. Depending on your budget, get the real leather ones cos you can stretch them at home like stuffing loads of hard paper the size of your feet and leave them there for a while, leather expands and wearing is more bearable.. I know…or else look for the more rounded front ones… there is a pair of bootie out there for everyone! I know it!
