Bijou Bazaar, how was it?

What went down?: Menara Hap Seng is an awesome place. Less stuffier, and the air cond really helps! I mean, we all like the laidback-ness of bazaars, but we also do like to shop in comfort, right? The place was HUGE with 2 floors of bazaars. As always, you can find good bargains at every corner. I went before 12noon, so the shops were still in the middle of setting up and the crowd wasn’t there yet, but there are some early birds who came as early to browse and catch the best stuff before they’re gone.

In line with the Raya theme of this bazaar, the organizers tried to bring back some old school drinks and ice cream sticks. They were selling old school ice lollies in plastics and some kinda drinks in bottles that look like these:

This time around, there are a whole lot of Vintage clothes. Its like a true “flea market” this time. I think there are about 5 or more shops selling all vintage items. Shoes, bags, dresses galore. The price ranges, but rest assured, vintage was so on sale on Saturday.

I managed to bag a tube dress from Paperdoll and 3 vintage dresses from Whitelace & Promises. I am broke now thank you. I also saw: Love De Shawl, Bhajue Boutique, My favoritees, Gin&Jacqie, The Sticker Monster, Old Blossom Box, Eight Designs, The Bow Group, and many other stalls.
