Shirts4Real held an official launch for their new line of T shirts last Friday and emmagem was there to witness the event. Shirts4Real has been operating since last year and since then has received tremendous support from their fans. According to Jan, the owner of Shirts4real, each T shirt is painstakingly designed with a meaning to each piece. Not every design is for fun, but each of them has a purpose. Ultimately, their purpose is to make a difference in lives of youth today.

Their launch was located in front of Taylors College Subang Jaya at a small little cafe called Positive Cafe. On that day, they were all there together with friends and family to launch the official partnership with Positive Cafe to sell their T shirts there and also to launch their new line of T shirts called Illuminate.

They have a couple of shirts but, let us focus on two of their designs:

Design 1: SHINE ON (Limited Edition)

Darkness is like a vacuum that consumes everything that it comes into contact with, this world that we live in is getting darker and darker, day by day. When caught in a situation where everything seems bleak, we often wish that there is some form of light that will guide us out of it.

This light, warm and gentle, is more than enough to illuminate and to over power the darkness, bringing HOPE into the situation. Hope is what we need to survive in today’s world. We can have many things to hold on to in times of trouble but there will come a day where all things don’t seem to work and we tend to run from it. We can try many different ways to escape from the closing darkness but it’s futile.

Hope does the opposite; its warmth brings courage, confidence and strength for one to move on.

When life seems dark, stop and allow this light to illuminate through you.

Remind yourself that all isn’t lost when there is hope.

To entertain the crowd, the organizers invited miss Mia Palencia to play a couple of songs accoustic style. She is AWESOME i tell you! She is a singer-songwriter who writes very nice songs, her first single Sayang was released a long time ago and she now has a full length album called “Finding my way”.

She sang this song at the launch, which was omg, super funny, listen to it. It is called “Pretentious Date” (This video was not from the launch, but I found it on youtube!). Mia will be featured on KL in the Raw soon!
