Have you ever seen men who wear long nails on their pinkies because it purportedly helps be rich if a pinkie is long? 

The Empress Dowager wore nail accessories that were made of gold and about 6inches long…of course that is not so functional unless like her you have someone to help dress and feed you and other personal amenities all the time.
