Hi…I would like to ask where can i find masquerade masks in K.L area? I need it for my up-coming college prom…and where can I find affordable prom dresses…preferably NOT long ones…

Most Costume shops do have masks that are available for rent. Alternately, try going into party supplies shops to buy masks. We know of a new designer of masquerade masks that can hand-make masks to suit your taste. She is Evon T a model and also a mask designer. Her masks are 100% handmade and can be custom made too Price ranges from RM40 - RM60. Contact her through her email if you want more information.

I remember this one shop in Damansara … it’s on the second floor. I can’t really remember much of it, but I did check it out and they do have A LOT of costumes + accessories. They also have prom dresses, but I think they’re quite long.

I went to this shop to rent costume during my company annual theme dinner. They also have all sorts of masks.

But if you are on a tight budget, you can buy a plain inexpensive mask at Teddy Tales, Suria KLCC and costum made it by glueing some ribbons, lace and sequins.

if you’re looking at lower budgets, but nice enough masks, balloon bouquets in bangsar (jalan telawi) has some masks which are quite nice. you could check out their other branches in section 14 or taipan. but i’m pretty sure the telawi one has some masks.

alternatively, elo (by blook) in telawi bangsar has some masks as well.

Hey, you can get masquerade masks at a party shop in Times Square. It’s at level 3. Not sure what is the name but you can’t miss it.

And the price is around RM30 only. I bought my mask from there for my company’s dinner too.
