Post Bijou Bazaar sale!

By: karenmarie

Where: Strudels Bangsar, Lucky Garden

When: Over the weekend

What: SALE! pre loved and offline sales of items. Clothes, bags, jewelries, cupcakes, make ups, the works!:)

Report:

Parking was HELL at Lucky Garden in the afternoon. Round and round 3 times, still couldn’t find any parking. Fighting places with aunties and uncles who were going to the wet market and for lunch at nearby restaurants, we parked at Bangsar Village instead and took a walk there. We arrived at 12 sharp and oh boy, was the sun shining like crazy. We were surprised at how many shops there were!

The bazaar this time was alright, a bit stuffier but great stuff nonetheless. Strudels was packed with stalls at every square inch. I tell you, its like, whoa! Everywhere you turn, literally, there are clothes. Upstairs and downstairs, inside and out, fashionistas were selling their items.

Downstairs, i spotted Miss Bow Boutique’s owner Fanna and her entourage of labels clothing. They practically brought their whole shop here, from Teetees and ButtonMyButtons to Miss Bow’s own clothes. Also spotted Luscious Lips E Boutique there selling awesome tube tops for RM15! There were also other random fashionistas selling their pre loved and new items. While i was brwsing clothes, I met this girl who gave me a card. She is a make up artist called Mona (Hey Mona!). She does make up, hair, fashion adviser (Here’s a free plug, email her at this email address!).

Bijou Bazaar also brought a few Indonesian clothing labels. One i spotted was Anti Beauty. Their T shirts and  clothes are GORGEOUS! So witty with pretty prints too. The image on the left is a T shirt from Anti Beauty. It was selling at RM35 only!:)  Catch them on the next Bijou Bazaar event. They’ll be there too, I think.

Upstairs, we spotted Devotee, Mimpi and also Ngonyes!, a cupcake store and another vendor in a little small room all to themselves. People could see upclose what they sold online. Walked inside and we saw Mimpikita, who were selling clothes, art pieces and also home decorative items:) yums.

Walked in and we spotted Cat in a Bowl’s spot selling all their stashed clothes that they kept a secret from the people online until the bazaar. Clothes were going for as low as RM15.We also spotted Jade Hwang’s shop there with pre-loved and new clothes for sale. Curvy Chics was also spotted there with clothes going on discount. This time around, there were also make up and fragances on sale! Makeup Fever Forever was there selling their ever so famous glittery eye shadow/pigments.

The set up this time was not as spacious as the Jerumpa Hotel place. It was too stuffy and we had no time to slowly browse the items. We also didn’t have much space to move about with so many people all over the place. We hope Bijou Bazaar finds a bigger space for the growing number of vendors and also shoppers. This flea market/offline sales/junkyard sale trend is here to stay, i hope. Because, I like my bargains:)

Here are some of the images taken from the Bazaar!
