Question: Swimwear that suits my body

Boyshorts Bikini are a hit thing now. I want to wear them, but my problem is that I have short legs with huge thighs. Which style would best compliment my body shape?

Jean

Hi, Jean,  well boyshorts are the hit right now, but always wear something that suits your body and that you are comfortable in. It also depends on  which part  you would prefer to emphasise . You can get an elongated look for your legs by wearing swimsuits that have  a high cut leg, wear a one piece instead of bikinis as it shortens the visual of the torso therefore gives illusion of longer legs. The illusion of length to your thighs is enhanced  as the visual is pulled upwards. You can also  draw attention away from the bottom half of your body with a big floral swimsuit on upper body  or  with details on neckline like a plunging neckline or even racer back to emphasize your nice shoulders and back.  The other way is to hide the size  of your thigh by wearing a skirted bikini , in a solid color. But I would stay away from boyshorts.

  1. I would also recommend tankinis if you don’t want it to be, like, ENTIRELY one-piece, if you get what I mean.

Search in Emmagem for tankinis. They did a post on it before. Kimora made it hot! ;) And Kimora isn’t exactly the super thin type, so you can take a leaf out of her book.

  2. Absolutely agree…thanx for reminder!,
