Question: Wearing Pink at 30?

Hi…I would like to ask women like my age coming 30 can still wear a pink colour dress were there look very childish if i wear this colour for a dinner can you give any suggestion??? Thanks (^_^)….

MONAKO

Well, at any age,  any attire of  any colour can look wrong if worn inappropriately. It isn’t about colour , but more about the design of the dress and how you wear it, how you accessorize and how you eventually carry it off…

Pink satin ,  silk and chiffon , can look very sensuous  especially powder pink or  rose pink. Also choose your pinks wisely, there are many shades of pinks to work with.

For dinner, if it is a sexy halter dress even empire dresses or princess neckline, it is okay, definitely stay away from baby doll  dresses or any cutesey designs….
Make sure you sharpen up the accessories, go for chic and sexy items , clutches , stiletoes and stronger make up …that will certainly up the amp from  girlish to soft seduction.
I suppose when you wear pink , the whole imagery will be soften… I think if you like pink and you must to carry it off , you can look chic and  be very appealing…

  1. Hi Monako, I am already 30-ish and I still wear pink! Hehehe…I love pink and will always be…it’s not the colour that matters but the style, fabric and the cutting of the outfit that matters. Dont be afraid to wear pinks, they’re very sweet colour :-)

  2. It’s ok to wear pink at age 30. But hot pink / fuchsia would look tacky! Best shade of pink to wear is washed out pink… ie. baby pink… coz the colour is feminine, not childish. I love pink too!

  3. True that…i think a bright pink dress is a fashion no-no. Definitely safer to stick to a softer shade.

  4. Hey I think 30 is still young, I even think some baby doll dresses are fine if they’re sophisticated rather than really like a doll. Just don’t wear super mini jean flair skirts or stuff like that.
