Platforms taken to new heights

These pictures say a thousand words…platforms aren’t what they used to be, “skyhigh” was how some Spring Summer Fashion shoes were termed as must haves! Fashion designers are getting bolder and aspiring higher it would seem and so shall such fashionistas be borne!

Apparently the super high platforms that have been hitting the runways, have been taken to new levels and was reported as the rage in Japan (see Platforms 1-7 pix) and then the more wearable designer pieces like Lacroix and Alessandro della laqua.Though it seems more than a tad painful to one’s imagination for the new take, there are those who would brave such ‘torment’ to their feet just to make a fashion statement. What height some fashionistas would take to to serve womenkind….

    good lord. every girl needs to be a ballerina in the near future. there’s no more room for klutziness now that it’s a long way to fall.
