Question: Petite Clothing

Lyn has a question that is for the petites this time :)

Hi..do you know where to get clothes in really small sizes? I’m really petite and have difficulty finding clothes that fit lol..it’s by luck that sometimes I stumble upon fitting clothes.

Well, Lyn, usually, most clothes would fit petites. It is just the matter of how you will fit in it. lols. But i understand that “free sizes” usually fit the ones who are UK 8-10 very well only. Well, several shops has petite range of clothes….

  1. Miss Selfridge Petite
  2. Topshop Petite
  3. Armani Exchange
    Their XS is really very small :)
  4. GAP
    size 00 jeans
  5. Rest & Relax
  6. Elements
    The Curve, Berjaya Times Square
    They have work wear for petites:)
  7. Kids line
    - GAP, Guess, etc
    A lot of petites do this…they buy children’s sizes and wear them!:) Nowadays children’s clothes are as fashionable as adults’ clothes!
  8. Buy the smallest size and alter it!:)
  9. What else?

    For t-shirts,my petite friend buys a lot from BodyGlove. Their fit is kinda good for small bodies.

    Shops like MNG,Zara,NafNaf,etc carry XS sizes too if I’m not mistaken (I’m really not clear on this as I always head straight for the plus sizes,lol!).

    We all paying to get huge with supplements and exercises, you all paying to get into xtra small… hahaha

    Wh has super mini size…as small as size 1.

    For working clothes, Padini is a good choice. I love how their XS fits my petite figure ^^ (they’ve 50% off fairly often too!!)

    Apart from that, I’ll also recommend G2000 blu and XOXO.

    For a more affordable choice, you may try Little Black Book.

    For shoes, Vincci is not bad. They’ve size 3 for certain shoes. That is, if your feet is as tiny as mine ;) (size 35 is slightly loose for me!!)

    If you have the patience, do try hunting from Sungai Wang. I got most of my denim jeans/skirts there, plus some nice-fitting brandless tops.

    Our blog is run by girls who are very, very petite in size so the clothes we buy are very petite too! Size 6 from Topshop, sometimes size 4, XXS from MNG. We often never wear our clothes so they’re all brand new (some still on the rack even, and some with tags!) Come visit us if you want to buy petite clothings!
