Make Up Regime by Kanebo International
By: adminThe art of making oneself look beautiful…the bane of modern women, the endless topic of magazines, sitcoms and the like…it is a queer paradox to note that at this day and age where women have access to any sophisticated technology imaginable to change every single physical feature on their face and bodies that at no other time are they more insecure. This just goes to show that beauty is really not about what others see, but rather what YOU see in yourself. This truth in all its simplicity is the principle I am committed to in my 5 years as the Chief Trainer of Kanebo International.
In the course of my work, I have had the opportunity to make up many women of different ages, sizes, races, lifestyles and preferences. It saddens me when I find that more often than not, it is not the face that I had to make look beautiful but the inner self. There are just so many women out there that are dissatisfied and discontented with the way they look and constantly seek affirmation and reassurance. They wrongly believe that if only that had bigger eyes, sexier lips, slimmer face, etc; they will become more beautiful. Sad to say, if you do not love yourself for who you are, you will not love yourself even if you have the face of Ashwarya Rai!
Having said that, I am all for women wanting to improve themselves and present the best of themselves to the world. There is no denying that on the mornings when I have less water retention, better complexion and miraculously managed to throw on a fantastic combination of clothes, accessories and shoes; I will walk out with wings on my feet and my chin up to face the world head on. The point is, I know who I am and I know that I am showing the best of ME to the world, not ANOTHER me. There is a whole world of difference between the two… whenever we broach the subject of the latest color trends or makeup styles, we should always choose and wear only those that reflect the best of ourselves and not mask it. Be as flamboyant as you like; if this is you. If this is not you, give it a pass!
So now you know why I am so loyal to Kanebo International. This is one brand that helps you help yourself from its colors to its skincare. T’estimo, a brand synonymous with the latest trend in Japanese makeup and colors is so easy to use and mistake-proof that even Mr Bean will find it a breeze. Best of all, the colors and textures are formulated such that it brings out the best in you, allowing the world to see your personality shining through and not just notice that you have eye makeup on! T’estimo is so widely accepted and well-loved that it has quickly risen to become the no. 1 best-selling brand in Japan and the 3rd in Malaysia.
In line with its philosophy, the T’estimo look is something very easily achievable. Just take a look at the following tips:
Firstly, the SKIN – it must be clean, radiant and moist.

Secondly, the EYES – play around with different textures and combinations of levels to create eyes that are especially flattering for Asian women. For example, forgo the 3rd level during the day but add on a dark/accent color and smudge it accordingly for sexy, smoky eyes for a night out.
Never leave out your eyeliner and mascara which will instantly open up your eyes. Sometimes, these 2 are all you need for a casual weekend.

Thirdly, the LIPS – shine and translucence is the order of the day. If you are blessed with a clear lip shape, just fill it in with colored gloss or liquid lippies. Remember to touch up after your meals to maintain that everlasting freshness.>
Last but not least, the CHEEKS – load on a natural pinky peach color for that youthful rosy glow and never forget the highlight to ensure a clean, bright and dimensional finish.

Remember, there is only one you in this world. Beautiful people may be confident but confident people are ALWAYS beautiful!!!
